Simple, Bountiful, And Budget Friendly Chicken Thigh Pasta

Chicken

Prep Time: 20 mins
Cook Time: 60 mins
Description

This meal was from one of our ten dollar shopping meals and is supposed to be enough to feed an entire family and guess what it was! Well maybe for a family of four but you get the point! We always try to use Springer Mountain Farms Chicken (SMF) but always feel free to use whatever you wish. This meal with the fresh broccoli was absolutely awesome as it soaked up all of that broth with every bite! Sign me up every time!

Ingredients
  • - Seasoning of choice I used Wild Game from Red Beard Seasonings
  • - 3 Cups water
  • - One pack of SMF Bone In Chicken Thighs
  • - One bag of egg noodles
  • - 1 bag of frozen or fresh broccoli I used fresh
  • - Large cast iron pan is what we cooked it in
Instructions
  1. Season chicken thighs inside and outside of the skin place in cast iron with your water only cover about half of the chicken.
  2. Sprinkle seasoning into water to make a flavorful brother and bake in the oven at 350 for 45 minutes
  3. Boil egg noodles and place to the side while chicken is cooking
  4. Pull chicken out of the broth off to the side and once it cools down pull off your meat from the bones and chop it
  5. Add broccoli to the broth in the cast iron and cook for another ten minutes at 350 degrees
  6. Add back in your chopped chicken and egg noodles to the broth mixture and stir when cooking broccoli is done and enjoy!
