These were so easy and honestly the butterflied technique on chicken legs opens up a whole new world of possibilities on flavor combos. This one was a unique surf and turf but first you gotta have good chicken and that is why we use Springer Mountain Farms over here! Really easy technique, you go this dudes and dudettes!


Fresh Chicken Drumsticks | Springer Mountain Farms

Ingredients
  • One Pack Of Springer Mountain Farms Chicken Legs
  • One Tub of Crab Spinach Artichoke Dip
  • Cast Iron Pan
  • One Tablespoon of Seasoning of Choice We Used Applewood Pork and Poultry from Troubadour Spice Blends
Instructions
  1. Butterfly Springer Mountain Farms chicken legs down to the bone on the meatiest side
  2. Season chicken legs and then place butterflied side up into a cast iron pan
  3. Place in preheated over at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or in a smoker
  4. After 20 minutes pull from oven and place your dip into the butterflied opening of the chicken legs
  5. Place back into oven for another 25 minutes until the dip has a golden brown finish
  6. Let rest for a few minutes and enjoy!
